At the risk of stepping on some toes, here's a commentary that really made me think. It starts with the question, is it necessary to prove what's 'self-evident?'

Thanks to Schoolhouse Rock, my generation can recite the preamble to the Constitution by heart. Mike Maharrey from the Tenth Amendment Center notes that the preamble is the least important part of the document.

The attacks on the First Amendment can come from closer to home than we realize. Judge Andrew Napolitano lays out the story of a small-town police force that raided a weekly newspaper in their community.

No matter what lies ahead, it's a safe bet that hard times will be a part of it. Now, more than ever, we need a leader of solid character like Robert E. Lee.
